Production Team Leader

What you do as a Team Leader to bring out the best in your team:

• You lead your team daily and coordinate the work activities.

• You provide input to the team manager of your shift regarding performance and evaluations.

• You ensure that new employees and temporary workers are properly trained.

• You assist in solving technical problems.

• You contribute to a social, healthy, and safe working environment.

As a Team Leader, you are responsible for a production line in a factory where millions of cookies are baked daily. You coordinate the daily activities and lead a team of 5-10 colleagues. This team consists of all-round production workers and operators. With your enthusiasm and leadership experience, you know how to bring out the best in your team. You ensure the team is strong and all-round.

Merba places high demands on (food) safety, quality, and efficiency. You monitor our quality standards, norms, and planning, and ensure your team follows the agreed working methods.

What do we offer you?

• A good salary of €3,340 - €4,430 (including 20% shift allowance). We are affiliated with the collective labor agreement (CAO) for confectionery.

• You are strong in communication, technically skilled, stress-resistant, and good with people;

• You have at least an MBO level 4 (senior secondary vocational education) work and thinking level;

• You have experience in a leadership role within a production environment, preferably in the food industry;

• You are willing to work in a 3-shift system (05:45–14:00 / 13:45–22:00 / 21:45–06:00).
